Canadian Powder Tours offer you: a clean, relaxing atmosphere with a touch of "local" ambience, something personal and above all, ‘special’ for every guest. We have an organic-eco approach, even down to announcing where each meal you eat actually comes from!

Breakfast consists of cereals, fruits, yogurt, nuts, juices and a full choice of cooked delights, for example full English, benedict with hollandaise sauce, soft boiled eggs with soldiers, continental and limitless hot drinks! Our treat is pancakes and our famous maple syrup.

After your day on the slopes, freshly baked cakes await you in front of the fire along with fruit juices, hot drinks, or any choice of beverage from the chalet bar or any duty free drinks you have brought along with you.
Meal times are the pinnacle of the evening and enjoyed along with all the chalet guests and hosts. The key focus is healthy, fresh and organic foods: meats and game are selected ahead of time and produce is delivered by our organic suppliers. Delicious salmon smoked using traditional Native Indian receipes, melts in your mouth!
Due to popular consensus, Susan has created her own “recipe book”, giving away some of the chalet’s favorite recipes. Meal times are fun and sociable. The all-in exceptional quality is a sign of our commitment to offering you great value for money and a holiday of a lifetime.

A fine selection of quality B.C wines is served with the evening meal. A wine tasting evening is offered, allowing guests the opportunity to sample these local wines which are also sold throughout the UK.

Your hosts can also organize a range of other activities such as, watching ice hockey matches, dog sledding, snowmobiling (recommended under the evening stars), evening cross-country skiing, (Don’t put vin chaud + scones here – it is getting too cheesy, pretentious and forced) snowshoeing, wildlife watching, cinema, arts events, Fernie's historical museum, advise on "gear" shopping and, of course, directing guests to the best nightlife options.

As residents of Fernie, your hosts will provide local information plus any key inside knowledge that the commercial operators and hotels will lack. This inter-action with the local community has been a great feature in making our product so fulfilling over the years.
It should be mentioned that over the years we have seen engagements, pregnancies, couples meeting and plenty more at the chalet!
This chalet-style holiday is ideal for families (so book early), single persons, clubs as well as business groups.

Rates are based on each individual enquiry - the rates shown are intended as a guideline only.




Each chalet enquiry is dealt with individually and rates may vary depending on the specifics, for example, group discounts, family rates, singles. There are no set change over days, so guests have flexibility, options to get the best deals on flights.
Canadian Powder Tours offers return flights from Manchester and Gatwick for 399 pounds per person.
