As if in a tale: a traditional Canadian log chalet overlooking the scenic “Elk River” and facing the magnificent “Lizard Range” mountains with all the ski runs facing. 

Our Chalet backs onto a natural wilderness habitat where beavers and moose are seen. Perfect evening options are snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Views are stunning, capturing all the surrounding mountains, daylight, sunrise, flaming sunsets and starlit skies.

The chalet itself is a classic log structure with old growth, West Coast fir floors, counter tops and a beautiful twelve-foot long dining table, which is one solid log. The main floor is open plan with a large kitchen and dining area. While presenting a warm and friendly environment, it maintains a professional and tasteful touch. The lounge features a huge stone fireplace, library and games area, plenty of comfortable couches, armchairs and floor cushions for "chill out" after a fantastic day in the mountains and a delicious healthy dinner.

The chalet is decorated throughout with worldly treasures and local art work.
There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 4 downstairs (typical Canadian design).  All the rooms have either twin or queen sized beds and made up with down duvets, soft cotton towels, wardrobes, dressing tables, lamps and are very spacious. There are 4 large bathrooms in the chalet (1 en-suite), and the main bathroom has a 6-feet long, claw foot, antique tub - a favorite to soak in with lots of bubbles!

The outside Hot Tub faces the “Lizard Mountain Range”, all the ski runs, the vast bowls and cliff bands.  A great way to enjoy a beer, or glass of champagne, admiring the terrain conquered that day, or simply drifting in thoughts with the shooting stars or falling flakes of snow.  Alternatively you can enjoy the challenge of jumping into the powder and then back into the hot tub for the all- over-body tingling experience so recommended for circulation! The tub was selected for its ideal feet, back, neck and shoulder massage jets.

The chalet is located within walking distance to Fernie town centre, all shops, amenities and facilities.
