We are only offering exclusive lodge use and not shared bookings. You may opt for B&B as well as meals provided by Wheelie Good Eats food truck. Customize the type of stay you would prefer to make your holiday as relaxing and luxurious as possible.
Activities
The lodge is minutes from downtown and access to mountain bike trails from the doorstep. Fernie Alpine Resort offers downhill riding with lift access, there’s also easy access shuttle drops. For the Adventure touring & dual sport rider the scenery & terrain is spectacular. There is a well developed network of stunning hiking trails showcasing the unique, colourful flora and fauna offered in abundance due to the microclimate that Fernie is situated in. The Elk River, famous for its fly fishing, is directly out the back door. Guided float trips, walk & wade and exploring the other tributaries off the Elk River are available locally. White water rafting & SUP river courses are offered in town.

All-round Destination
The historical downtown of Fernie comes alive in the summer with arts and cultural events, including our weekly live music in the streets, a bustling local farmers market and our annual music festival “Wapiti”, held in August. Fernie is an ideal family adventure destination with children’s camps, bike parks, river floats, white water rafting, lakes. The lodge offers a very large, beautiful backyard with a kitchenette/dining/social patio featuring a BBQ, sink, fire pit, speakers, tables, chairs & views. Guests can enjoy having a massage from a local registered therapist, bird watching, painting and evenings by the outdoor fire, backyard games such as frisbee, badminton, a slack-line. An endless amount of activity awaits.
Food and Drink
Year round guests may opt for a hearty breakfast, including cereals, preserves, fresh juices, fresh fruit and a full cooked daily special.
Owner, Susan, is professionally trained and passionate about creating scrumptious, healthy, nutritionally balanced meals, all prepared from scratch with spices from around the world. For this reason Wheelie Good Eats food truck was opened & offers guests the option to have lunches, aprés-bike platters & an enticing evening menu. We are happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements and children’s meals. We strive to always use locally sourced, seasonal produce and harvest direct from the garden during the summer months. Our food truck operates downtown & at the local market and events. Guests can order & arrange meals directly from “Wheelie”.

If you are joining us for a sports training holiday, or at an athletic level, then our B&B breakfasts will be focused on delivering a calorie and nutritionally balanced diet, homemade energy bars, recovery snacks, protein smoothies all designed to provide maximum energy levels so you can perform at your peak.
Wheelie Good Eats food truck can provide meals to our guests, we also cater special occasions, functions & events within the community, step it up a notch by being catered to by your own food truck!
